Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA), in collaboration with the Caribbean Farmers Network (CAFAN) is organizing a Web 2.0 Training and Exchange Workshop on 27 - 31 July 2013. The training, focused on blogging, will be held in the framework of the upcoming launch of the Second Edition of the Youth in Agriculture Blog Competition (YoBloCo Awards) organized by the ARDYIS project.

During past competitions organised by the ARDYIS project, low participation has been noted from some ACP regions including the Caribbean. It falls in CTA’s mandate to facilitate access to and dissemination of information in the fields of agriculture and rural development in Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific (ACP). It will last 5 days and includes exchange sessions on the use of ICT in agriculture which will take place the last day. Participants will get hands-on experience on blogging for agriculture and rural development, during intensive practical sessions.
