What is ARDYIS?

ARDYIS is a framework of actions which aims to raise the capacity and opportunities of youth in agriculture through ICTs in ACP countries (Africa, Caribbean and Pacific).

Its key activities include the Youth in Agriculture Blog Competition (YoBloCo Awards) and the AgriHack Talent initiative.

To support the outreach of the 7th Africa Agricultural Science Week (AASW7) which will take place in Kigali, Rwanda from 13-16 June 2016, and amplify the outreach of the outcomes of the conference, CTA has supported 8 young social reporters from across Africa to join their colleagues from YPARD in Rwanda for a social reporting activity in the framework of the AASW7 conference. Today, they are kick-starting event with a training for the social reporters. A total number of 28 On-site Reporters will work together with a larger, close to 200, team of online reporters for this event.

Meet the on-site reporters. You can start following them on Twitter!
