Woww! so happy seeing all this comments here. on behalf of myself and team members at Syecomp Business Services Ltd Ghana, I wish to express how grateful we are for taking time to visit our blog and reading our posts! We are spurred to continue writing stuffs on agricultural development in Ghana on policy issues; reporting on our professional ICT services for smallholder farmers and bringing innovative research works to your attention. We are doing this with the hope that youths in Ghana and in the sub-region at large look at agriculture from a positive and attractive point of view and to be encouraged to venture into this budding industry as well. Follow our posts and feel free to download our documents/files on the box.net widget! Big thanks again!

without effective agricultural policies in place, all related actions or activities with respect to farming, etc will be mere stories in our ears. You guys through your blog are trying to address the root cause of agricultural interventions! more grease. I like the initiative and that by CTA trying to spearhead this agenda. Using ICT in pragmatic ways such as farmland mapping and survey is a laudable idea and i believe lots of our smallholder farmers are buying into this concept. keep it up and i wish u all the best as you compete wth other great blog posts in the subregion.

it's a good idea. its high time every aspect of the economy especially the agriculture sector adds value to its activities. for me i think with the introduction of IT in agriculture, new ways of doing farming can be exploited. in the sense that, the profile of a country like Malaysia (whose independence was around the same time as ours but doing better than us in terms of development) can be researched and some of their strategies applied in our agriculture sector.
