This is a new blog initiated to highlight Shiriki Organization’s efforts in creating conditions of community development in Maragua mainly through Agriculture and Environment conservation.
The Blog’s objectives are:
i. To bring to light the activities of the organization in the agriculture and environment sectors for the likeminded to chip in for the benefit of the community.
ii. To attract more young people into the occupation of agriculture using IT.
iii. To act as a platform where farmers can seek information or deliberate on various topics.
iv. To act as a journal for recording the developments in the setting up of a community learning centre by Shiriki Organization.

Shiriki Organization is a non-governmental organization operating in Kenya and registered under the NGO Act.
We are the sons and daughters of Africa who have been brought together by the grace of our Almighty Creator to serve the motherland selflessly and voluntarily. We are non-political, non-religious, non-affiliated and non-violent. The work we have set out to continue with in Africa and for the sake of all creation is to ensure that the hungry are fed, naked clothed, the sick nourished, the infants cared for, the aged protected and the ignorant instructed.
Shiriki Organization was officially registered as an NGO in December 2007.
Our Mission To work hand in hand with likeminded individuals, groups, organizations and institutions in creating a sustained Afrikan nation by way of agriculture and environment conservation.

Having been brought up in a farming environment, I have always loved supporting farmers prosper in their endeavors and now that am in the city what better thing can I do other than highlight the farmers' efforts, their challenges and successes in such a blog for others to see and act?
2ndly, thanks to Shiriki Organization for the hope and real opportunities that you are giving the youth in Kenya in this time of great neglect by the system. Let the hungry be fed, sick nourished, naked clothed,aged protected, infants cared for and ignorant instructed!

in this age and time when information technology is on every youth agenda it is good to see one of we remembering that we have to eat and eat ital too
