Que signifie ARDYIS ?

Information and communication technologies (ICTs) are emerging as increasingly valuable business tools for women entrepreneurs in developing countries. Making sure that women entrepreneurs are equipped to make productive use of such technologies is important from the perspective of achieving Millennium Development Goal (MDG) 3 on Promoting Gender Equality and Empowering Women and MDG 8 on a Global Partnership for Development to make available the benefits of ICTs.

Tous les douze meilleurs participants seront invités à la conférence.

I am Simon Wandila from Zambia, one of the Social Reporters who attended last November 2013 ICT4Ag conference in Kigali, Rwanda. I thought it necessary to share my experience and what ensued from that event.

Last month, we launched a call for social reporters to cover the Fin4Ag International conference that will take place in Nairobi from 14 - 18 July 2014. 694 applications were received in English and French and after processing and evaluating them, 15 reporters have been selected for the on-site team and over 300 reporters will form part of the larger online team.
