What is ARDYIS?

ARDYIS is a framework of actions which aims to raise the capacity and opportunities of youth in agriculture through ICTs in ACP countries (Africa, Caribbean and Pacific).

Its key activities include the Youth in Agriculture Blog Competition (YoBloCo Awards) and the AgriHack Talent initiative.

Annie Loquay Chéneau est directrice de recherche au CNRS et responsable de l’Observatoire Africa’NTI (projet de recherche sur les modes d'insertion, les usages et les impacts des technologies de la communication en Afrique).

Kimathi Information Centre (KIC) is a telecentre based in Kimathi Estate in Eastlands, Nairobi, Kenya. This is a disadvantaged urban residential area with a good number of jobless youths. The population of this estate is roughly 7,010 people.
